This data is processed by Cloudflare Inc. for the purpose of site delivery, security and abuse prevention. We do not store this data ourselves and we do not analyze it.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating a secure website) and Art. 31(2)(c) Swiss DSG.
3. Cookies and tracking
This website does not set any cookies. No tracking, no analytics tools (no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Matomo) and no marketing pixels are used.
4. Third-party services
Cloudflare (hosting and DNS)
The site is hosted on Cloudflare (Cloudflare Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Cloudflare processes the technical data listed above for the purpose of delivering the site and protecting it from attacks. Cloudflare offers a Data Processing Agreement and operates under EU Standard Contractual Clauses for international data transfers. More information: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Web fonts
The fonts used on this site (Inter and Space Grotesk) are self-hosted and served from the same domain as the rest of the site. No font data is loaded from third-party CDNs and no IP addresses are transmitted to external font providers.
Cloudflare Email Routing
If you contact us via jakob@horizontal.solutions, your email is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to a personal Google Mail inbox (Google LLC, USA). Your message and any data you include is stored as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of correspondence. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries).
5. Data retention
Server access logs handled by Cloudflare are retained according to Cloudflare's policies (typically a few days). Email correspondence is retained as long as it remains relevant for the inquiry.
6. Your rights
Under EU GDPR and Swiss DSG, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR / Art. 25 DSG)
- Request correction of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR / Art. 32 DSG)
